Hardware changes with activated Vista Ultimate

Hi,

I am planning to replace my graphics card, increase the amount of memory and
change the DVD writer in my computer. Are these changes likely to require me
to reactivate Vista?

When you re-activate, take the phone option, and wait for a real person.

Hi John,

Probably not, but be aware that that it might. I have changed my graphics
card, increased the amount of memory, replaced both optical drives AND
upgraded the processor ALL without having to reactivate (admittedly, not all
at the same time). The items that WILL definitely require you to reactivate
are changing the motherboard and/or changing the hard disk - note that if you
change your motherboard I strongly recommend that you reinstall Vista.
