reinstall vista Home Premium fails

Hi,
I had to reformat and reinstall windows xp home and when i tried to install
vista Home Premium , It gives me an error .

This computer doesnot have enough space for temp files . Windows needs
installation needs at least 292 mb of space on any partition for temp files
to istall windows free enough space and restart the installation. Any Ideas?

I freed up windows temp and local temp files but still no go. Any idea on
where windows is asking for? I have 66.1 gb free.

Hello,
I found what was wrong , i had a backup drive connected and it was reading
that drive. Unpluged and installed vista just fine thanks for your help.
