Anytime Upgrade

Does an Anytime upgrade simply affect the Windows (Vista) folder or is the
entire HDD affected via a reformatting?

An upgrade does NOT formatt the Hard Drive.
If it did, what would you be upgrading from?
Computers are based on logic! Reread your question.

Hi,

Anytime Upgrade simply unlocks the features available in the version you
upgrade to. It does not change user accounts or affect data previously saved
and programs currently installed.
