Deleted Printer but icon still there & printer wont auto install & wont print
 

Hello,

I deleted the printer but the icon in the control panel/printers wont go
away,and when i try to print,it says the pritner has been deleted. But it
looks like because the deleted printer icon is still in the control
panel/printers,the printer does not auto install at all,whether i switch it
off,unplug it from the pc etc

Did you delete it... or uninstall it? Go to the Control Panel, Programs
and ensure you have UNINSTALLED it.

Look for an uninstall utility at the printer manufacturer's website...

And check the print spooler is actually running.
