One retail license, doens't matter version, allows you to transfer it to
another computer as many times as you like as long as you first remove it
from the previous computer.
The license agreement also allows for one transfer to another person
(resale) I believe. Of course, how would they know anyway?
If activation ever fails on you, simply call them up and they will sort it
out. In the circumstances you have outlined this shouldn't be a problem.
