Second Vista Activation

Hello,

I installed a version of Windows Vista Business on my PC and activated that.
Because i have a notebook as well i decidted tot remove Vista from my PC and
go back to my Windows XP version. Later i installed the same Vista on my
notebook but he won't activated anymore?

If it's an OEM version or one from a MAPS subscription, the licence is
non transferrable so if you've activated it on one PC, you can't on
another.

You can call Microsoft and explain that and they can activate it over the
phone. Granted, it must be the retail version and not the OEM.
