MSDE- will it break or is it just not supported

I've seen plenty out there that states MSDE is not supported on Vista. Not
supported does not mean it wont work.

So the question is will it work in vista or does it just throw exceptions or
not able to install on Vista

Why not post this in the Vista general group? It's not a setup question.
