Upgrade from Vista Premium to Ultimate on New PC

Good morning all,
I'm trying to upgrade from the Premium edition that was pre-installed on my
new system to Ultimate. The advisor said all was ready to go, paid for the
upgrade, downloaded all the files and ran thru the entire install process, on
the final reboot, got failure message and everything resorted to
re-installing Premium.

Where should I start looking for conflicts? All I added to the system from
scratch is a 2nd HD, an ATI X1300 series Vid card, and a Logitech G15
Keyboard. Should I start with disabling the vid card and try again with the
regular PS2 Keyboard?

I don't have answer but question for you.
How much did you have to pay for the upgrade from Premium to Ultimate? Is it
a difference between 2 version or the whole price of Ultimate?
