sysprep and "skipmachineoobe"
So, according to the WAIK, "skipmachineoobe" is to be depreciated
because they don't want users confused by it.
Well, I'm not confused by what it does and I want to use it.
But, if I use it, when I log in to my existing accounts, I'm prompted
to reset the "network location" and am informed that AutoMatic Updates
was turned off. Both of these were set prior to sysprepping the
machine.
Anybody know if there's a registry setting that can be set in
"unattend.xml" that will set these that's *not* part of the OOBE
settings?
