can't log in, how to uninstall progam?

ok,
a member of my family tried to download 'maple story' off of
'nexon.net' and it said that it wasn't compatible with windows vista. None
the less, he tried again to see if it would work the second time. it did. but
now anyone can't log into anything!!! Help

Boot the system with the installation DVD, choose repair and do a system
restore to before the program was installed, or if you don't have a DVD then
restart the computer, tap the F8 until the Advanced Boot Options menu
appears, select Safe Mode, enter. If you can login then do a system
restore.
