Have Vista want to go back to XP

I have windows vista Pre Loaded on my New Laptop I would like to remove in
and install my Copy of XP as my Corporation does not use Vista yet. The Xp
Bootable disk keeps getting stopped at Pci.sys error

The best thing would be to return the laptop and buy one that has XP
preinstalled since this one will not meet your needs. If for some reason
you can't do that, contact the laptop mftr. to see if they have an XP
install disk and drivers for XP. If there are no drivers, then it will
be impossible to install XP on that machine and you should definitely
return it.

Hi Leodrake,

Did you boot from the XP installation DVD and format the hard drive
first before starting the XP install?
