Vista screen saver will not start

It did work when I installed the new OS. This is happening on two machines,
two installations.

I closed all open windows and nothing was showing in task manager as loaded.
I closed the side bar.

The "preview" works but it will/does not start at isn't pr-set time, or
ever.

Is there a setting that I might have missed?

Visit the Windows Update web site and make sure
to download all the available updates. I believe the
update that corrects this problem is called the
"HID Non-User Input Data Filter".

Wow! Thanks, that did the trick!

My system was set to look for and install updates at 4 this afternoon. It
would have just happened and I wouldn't have known why it was fixed. <g>
