Hang in Windows Boot Manager

Did a clean install, deleted, reallocated and formated partition.
Installed Vista Home Basic.
Now on every boot it hangs in Boot Manager until I hit enter to continue.
Only OS defined is Vista and memory test at bottom.
No timer countdown ro timeout.
Tried to change options in advanced options but only change to be made is
timeout seconds and that doesn't do anything.
