It won't ask .... the 32-bit and 64-bit versions are separate DVDs (or
downloads). Only Ultimate comes with both DVDs, and as far as I know,
the 64-bit version is not available for download at all. What you have
to do now is order a 64-bit DVD to be physically sent to you, and I
think that there is a shipping charge also, although the DVD itself is
technically free.
Kind of sucks; no reason why the 64-bit version should not be
downloadable. It's the product key, not the media, that provides the
security.
