help installing gadgets

I downloaded a gadget form a web site contained in another MS gadget page.

It came with a .rar extension that I can't figure out how to install. The
file is DateVS.Gadget.rar form

Anyone have any experience with this?

..rar are files that are compresssed (like zip) You have to unrar (unpack)
the files using winrar

I am using version 3.60, which work without any problems. I have heard that
version 3.62 have some problems.
