Anyone install Vista Premium on a system using a Promise SATA TX2 Plus card?
Hello,

Anyone install Vista Premium on a system using a Promise SATA TX2 Plus card?
I've got one in my Dell Dimension and I need to know if Vista will recognize
this card. I know Beta 1 of Vista couldn't see it and Promise had told me
that there are no drivers available for the card from them, but they didn't
know if Microsoft embedded the drivers for this card into the installation.

Any assistance in this area is GREATLY appreciated!

Thanks,

Jeff

It is supposed to be compatible, but drivers are not included. Promise
would have to provide drivers.

I sure hope that list is correct since Vista Beta 1 didn't even recognize
any of my SATA drives.

Wish me luck!

Thanks,

Jeff
