Vista Install trouble.

I have an Dell XPS 600 and i been having trouble installing Vista. At first
it would not install becouse it could not change the Boot sector. So i have
changed an Reg Key and i have got past that point. Now when im about 80% done
Windows comes back and reset WinXp becouse of an install issue. The machine
does not give the problem at that time so i dont know what stop's it at that
time. I have PC-Cillin installed on pc. Should i uninstall it? or any ideas?

Any antivirus software, along with anti-malware, should be uninstalled
before attempting an upgrade. Any other software that is flagged as
incompatible should be uninstalled before upgrade.

Thanks Jane. I formated my machine last night and put XP back on it and done
all of the microsoft updates on it so tonight im going to try again with
Vista, Wish me LUCK. JW
