Vista Ultimate install on Toshiba M40

Hello, I've big problems to install Vista Ultimat on my Toshiba M40 (Centrino
M730, 1.6 Ghz, 80 GB Disk. Ati x600/128 MB). After the system is prepared for
it's first run. The system hangs in the boot screen. The upgradadvisor scan
the hardware all ok. I tried also a upgrade installation, same result. After
safe-mod boot the system hangs at windows\system32\drivers\cdc....
Can anybody give me advice??

Having the same problem on M45..... no help from microsoft customer support.
This is not good. I have tried 7 times including clean installs.
