Re: Unable to get past entering in product key
This is not just a digital down loads that are messed up. I bought a new
Microsoft Home Premium OEM from Newegg.com and am having the same problem. It
just sits there and never does anything. When try the telephone method it
does not accept the product key that is on the package. It apparently wants
all numbers, but mine has a combination of alpha and numeric characters.
Sorry if I posted this wrong, but this is my first post. Thanks!

Re: Unable to get past entering in product key
those required numbers are not your Product Key but the activation-code.

just go "activate by telephone", pick your residing state and phone them up,
they will tell you what to fill in after cheking your key.

From an elevated command prompt give the command: slui 4

From the resulting dialog box pick your region and follow the steps on the
next window that has all the numbers.
