Vista Crash "After" Installation?
I installed the "for academic use only" Vista Home Premium upgrade (I'm a
student), and when my computer restarted after completing the installing, it
kept restarting the computer at the loading bar prior to the welcome screen.
There was no error message. After each restart, when prompted, the only
option that would allow my computer to run was "Rollback." After rolling back
to XP Home, I ran the upgrade advisor and found that my computer is more than
sufficient to run Vista. I scoured these forums and do not have any problems
that have thus far been listed--my XP is 32-bit, as is my Vista upgrade, and
my computer is by all means compatible with Vista. Could it be a problem with
the disc specifically or is there something else that's subverting my Vista
installation?
