Vista Upgrade HELP !

I am trying to upgrade from XP to Vista Home Premium.

When the option for `upgrade` comes up it says
Upgrade has been disabled.
- Your Windows configuration cannot be upgraded.

I have found a solution on the m/soft site to change any drives from FAT32
to NTFS. I did this only to find my drives were already NTFS , and still
upgrade is disabled.

I have also ran the vista upgrade advisor and it tells me my computer will
run vista home premium.

My computer is a Packard Bell iPower FX7610 with 600gb - [drive (c) 30gb /
drive (d) 521gb].

Please help.

It appears that you are possibly trying to upgrade XP which is in the C
partition and there is not enough space available in the C partition to do
the upgrade.

Are you using XP Pro or XP Home? You can't "upgrade" from Pro to Home.

Are you running the DVD from within Windows or booting from the DVD? You
can only upgrade from within Windows.
