boot menu says that my xp drive is unkown

::when i get to the dual boot menu and i try and select windows xp if
its it can not boot. I have looked in the bcdedit and it says that my
windows xp drive is unkown. does anyone have any sujestions on how to
sort this problem out ? thank you::

Probably your best bet is to copy the ntldr ntdetect.com and boot.ini files
to the partition with the Vista bootmgr on it. Since you didn't say if 1 hd
or 2 you may have to modify the boot.ini rdisk parameter.
