Vista Ultimate Language Pack install Error 2

Hi
I cannot install swedish MUI through Windows update OR install it using
lp.cab. Have read on the internet that many people have the same problem.
Wondering if any have a workaround or if MS has anything to say about this.
The log does not say much about the prob even when debugging is on.

The error is always error 2 and that means a reboot must be done. I can say
that a reboot does not help.

please, anybody, any tips?

Hi Lasse,

I've had this problem many times - and everytime I did a fresh English
Vista install, and then tried to install the danish language pack.

Now I found a solution that has worked (at least twice in a row :-).

I made sure that Vista was activated before installing the language
pack.

Mine is already activated, so that tip wont help me.
