Windows Easy Transfer Error

I am trying to export my outlook 2007 settings from XP SP2 installation to a
new Vista Business. I installed the Windows Easy Transfer (WET) in my XP. It
generated an error during the scanning: "There was an error scanning the data
on your system. Windows Easy Transfer will now close.". I run that on a
different machine, and it works fine. What can cause WET to close during
scanning? What are the alternatives to export the outlook2007 settings to a
new computer?
