Vista NOT allowing any dvd writers, internal or external
So i did the update from XP pro to vista ultimate. Just a plain update,
everything seems to be going well except i cant connect a dvd writer
internally or externally. When i do, i get the blue screen of death. Ive
tried 3 differnt internals and 1 external. ANyone have any ideas why this is
happening.

I have external HDs connected, but the min i plug in a external writer,
boom. Crash and reboot

When do you get the error message and what is the error code you get. It
may be an incompatible driver from your previous install. Which versions of
Vista (RC1 etc. 86 or 64)
