How to shrink a Vista partition and extend its neighbour?
On my disk, the first partition is with XP, the second one with Vista RTM,
the last one designated for data. All are formatted in NTFS. When I shrink
the Vista partition, either with Partition Magic 8 or Acronis Disk Director
10 or from within Vista with its diskmanager, everything is fine. But when I,
additionally, extend and/or reformat the third partitionVista won't restart
any longer, even if I used the Vista diskmanager. Can a partition table be
made compatible with XP-NTFS and the modified Vista-NTFS at all? Sven
