RE: Vista RTM runs fine, Media Center flickers and crashes
Yes, similar issues here (Dell Precision M90 laptop, Vista Ultimate RTM 32
bit with 2GB RAM, ATI Radeon with 512MB RAM); though not as drastic on my 17”
1920x1200 screen (very heavy screen flicker but no crashes, but tried using
it only twice and then gave it a miss). Media Centre is definitely unstable
and to be avoided until Redmond can put a fix out.
Some very, very minor screen flicker happens occasionally when opening large
or fullsize windows – I guess Vista is still struggling in the graphics
department ...
