Hi uanmi,
Have you installed a full set of sound card drivers yet? All the features of
your card may not be available until you do.

yeah installed the realtek vista drivers and the capability to turn line in
on has gone in vista
I cannot find the method to get the old panel with each audio channel and
the mute check box at the bottom
