Nero 7.5.9A install on Vista x64 RTM has a lot of errors.....

Just tried to install Nero 7.5.9A on my Vista x64 RTM Ultimate. On top of
no imagedrive and InCD support for 64-bit, installing Nero 7.5.9A gives a
lot of errors when registering .ax files. The following .ax files for Nero
seems problematic:

neaudio.ax
neaudio2.ax
nedvd.ax
nevideo.ax
nevideohd.ax

All of them gives an error code of -1073741819 (whatever that means). And
the file

neroburn.xml

Gives and error code: 1.

Already sent an email and screen shot to Ahead. But has anybody here any
temporary solutions to this?

Yes, same happened to me on Vista Ultimate RTM 32 bit. FYI, I couldn’t find
any info on ahead/nero’s website relating to Vista compatibility ...

Uninstalled Nero and instead used Ashampoo Burning Studio version 6.02 plus
Deamon Tools version 4.08HE which gives you 4 virtual drives. All work well
here. Apparently Alcohol 120 version 1.9.6.4719 is also fully Vista
compatible (and gives you up to 31 virtual drives). No idea on any InCD
compatible software, though ...
