While installing ultimate x64

I have done the initial setup of vista 64 bit atleast I think it is I
didn't see the option to choose it as others on this forum have
mentioned...anyways It has done the the first restart then it said
something about loading vista for the first time then after a while the
monitor went into power save mode and the machine just sat there for
maybe 10 mins. then it made a noise and restarted and then it started
back up again and it's been sitting here with the monitor in power save
mode again doing what seems to be nothing...so is this normal??? Will
this system ever startup? I'm lost any help if this is normal would
help

Some hardware details would help:
Video card
Motherboard
Amount of memory

It should have made it past this
