Joining the domain kills all audio

When I join my notebook to our domain the audio stops working. All audio
devices report that they are running without error but no sound comes out.
Restoring to a point before joining the domain restores sound. Any ideas?

Currently working with Dell Precision M90 Notebook, Windows Server 2003 AD
