I have a very big problem here...

I tried to open up something and I went with "open with" and selected notepad
n o every single program I have on my computer is trying to open in note pad
and I have no idea how to fix it...

k..my games dont work, internet explorer dont work, etc.

Osifer Rod - Note that when you select an "open with" option -below the
dialogue box is an option to use use the program you select in all similar
situations - evidently the option was checked (or you did so) - uncheck the
opion and the program you select to "open with" will only funciotn in that
one instance.

Rick's suggestion is your first option. Another is to right click the
original "something" - select "open with" and uncheck th elways open with
option.

(Boy - I must like the word "option"!!!)
