New install on Compaq nx6325

I am contemplating installing Vista Ultimate on my Compaq nx6325 laptop and am
wondering what the performance would be like.

CPU Type Mobile AMD Sempron, 1800 MHz (9 x 200)
ATI Radeon Xpress 1150 256 MB
2GB Memory
60 GB Hard drive
DirectX 4.09.00.0904 (DirectX 9.0c)


I ran Vista upgrade advisor and it said there are no problems.

This will be a clean install.

Does Compaq have drivers for Vista for that laptop? If not, do not
install Vista! To check go to www.hp.com and look under Support>Download
Drivers and Software for your specific model.

I have been running Vista Business 64-bit on my NX6325 (Turion 60,
64-bit) since January 30th. Best Vista machine out of the three I own.
HP drivers are great, don't use any others.
