Soundmax driver needed

Hi

I have a PC with an Asus P5SD2-X motherboard, Vista Ultimate has not
installed a driver so I have no sound, the Asus site does not have an updated
driver that I can find, is there another driver I can use, the XP driver does
not work.

I have an Asus P4P800 with SoundMax, and Vista came with and automatically
installed a driver for this one...?

Maybe there are different versions of SoundMax...

Give this driver a try

The P5SD2-X uses the AD1986A Soundmax chipset. I dont have this particular
soundmax controller so i have no idea if this driver will work.

This driver is designed to work with soundMax AD1986a.
