Bluetooth and plug-in devices problems on Vista Business
Hi all,
I installed Vista Business on my laptop (Dell Inspiron 6400). Installation
went fine without any problems. After the setup I updated all of my drivers
from Dell website so that it uses Vista drivers. Everything up to this point
was fine. Then I tried to pair with my mobile phone (Nokia N73). A problem
occurred and Vista complained about the presence of "Bluetooth Peripheral
Device" and it can't find a driver for it. I checked Nokia website and it
turned out that Nokia still didn't release drivers for Vista yet. The problem
now is that whenever I plug any device (USB, SD card, etc..) - which normally
is recognized automatically by Windows - I need to do the installation
manually. I need to go and point the driver setup into C:\Windows directory
and it starts searching there. I have to do it for EVERY single device.
Moreover, if i switch my mouse from one USB port into another, I need to do
it manually. Any suggestions about the possible cause(s)/solution(s)?
