soundcard

i have installed the beta version of the creative audigy zs 2, but sound is
awful, and very irritating, at the moment creative wont allow me to access
the autoupdate for some reason, what do i have to do?

i have disabled/turned off the cmss feature, and this has seemed to have
stopped the problem as of now
