Re: CD/DVD failure
Thanks for your suggestion, I tried uninstalling the driver then letting
Windows reinstall it upon reboot. This worked fine for ONE cycle. In other
words, the tray opened, I put a CD in, it read it fine, and ejected when I
pushed the button. Then, when I tried it again, it failed again. This
doesn't seem to be a permanent fix, and obviously, it is impractical to have
to reboot every time I want to run a CD/DVD. Does anyone have any other
solutions???
