OK for my Asus M2NPV-VM with ad1986a. Yes, the file says 1988, but it has
ad1986a on the .inf. Now there is 5.1 sound and digital output.

This driver does work. But I don't get a control panel for the soundCard
that i used to have in winxp. This reduce the ability to change the function
of each jack.

Try this driver,
ftp://ftp.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/Drive...6100_Vista.zip

This driver is designed specific for AD1986a.
