ATI Radeon XPRESS 200
I viewed other messages about people questioning the compatibility of their
graphics card with Vista. However, I wasn't sure if I should reply to those
or create a new thread...
I recently bought a new computer, nothing too expensive, just something to
use with light gaming and home entertainment. It is an eMachines T5212. The
graphics card included was, as you see, an ATI Radeon XPRESS 200. I recall
downloading and using something called the Windows Vista Upgrade Advisor (or
another name along those lines) that explained to me which version of Vista I
should purchase. My advice was to get the Home Premium, which is also what I
signed up for in the applications for an express upgrade. After the scan, the
program stated something about potential problems with my graphics card with
the update of Vista. I wasn't sure exactly what it said, and I do not have it
saved. However, I just want to know if my graphics card would work with the
Home Premium version of Windows Vista.
Also, would it work with the Aero designed interface, or any of the other
Home Premium features?
And one more question, is there any difference between an express upgrade to
Windows Vista Home Premium and purchasing the CD itself at a store?
Thank you, I hope to receive an answer soon.
