Re: Kodak C603 Camera driver grrrrr!
Hi DP,
I now have a problem, and perhaps you can help. I have had XP Pro x64
(trial) installed for a number of months and my Kodak DC280 would
automatically get recognized and I could transfer pictures using the windows
facilities just fine.
Several weeks ago, I subscribed to TechNet and obtained a non-trial version
of XP Pro x64. I think "upgraded" my install XP Pro x64 (SP1) system with
the "non-trial" version with SP1 integrated into it.
Now, I can't get my camera to work. The camera is recognized in the device
manager correctly as DC280 xxx when it's plugged it, but no amount of
coercion through the device manager or through the scanner/camera wizard can
find any driver that could be used for the camera. In fact, if I use the
scanner/camera wizard,
the second screen says "unable to find any drivers for this
device(advanced)", even though I haven't even selected any particular device
yet. It appears that all the WIA "drivers" are missing.
Any ideas?
thanks, Tom
