AD1986A not working on P5NSLI
I've been using Vista Buisness for about a week and can't get the 3,5mm sound
jacks to work. The SPDIF seams to work great but that doesn't help me since I
haven't got that kind of speakers. The AD1986A codec doesn't even show up in
the device manager, otherwise I would have been able to use nVidias beta
drivers that require manual installation =(

I know people have asked similar questions before but nothing has helped me
get it right since I can't find the drivers suggested. Hence, if you suggest
any special drivers I would be very happy if you could give an adress.

With best regards
Fredrik

RE: AD1986A not working on P5NSLI
Try this:

ftp://ftp.asus.com/pub/ASUS/misc/aud...16030vista.zip

OK for my Asus M2NPV-VM with ad1986a. Yes, the file says 1988, but it has
ad1986a on the .inf. Now there is 5.1 sound and digital output.

Try this driver
ftp://ftp.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/Drive...6100_Vista.zip

This driver is designed specifictly for 1986a.
