Any success with 6800GT

I have an Athlon FX-53 ABS computer with a GeForce 6800GT card. Before I go
and purchase an upgrade to Vista Premium, can anybody tell me if this card
will work properly including aero features?

Yes, s long as it has 128MB of memory or more it will, which I assume it
has.

It should do fine, I have a FX-55 and a 6600GT and mine runs ultimate great.

If you mean FX 5500, Nvidia has dropped there Aero support for the 5000
Series Video Cards with the RTM Drivers. You now need at least a 6000 Series
Video Card for Aero Support according to the Release Notes.

I think it's an AMD Athlon 64 FX-55, 2.6GHz, San Diego, 1MB
L2 Cache, Socket 939 Processor!

I run a 6800GT on my test box and it has been doing Aero Glass for 18
months. No problems that weren't the fault of one or another of the nVidia
beta drivers. Excellent card for me.

I'm running the GeForce 6800 with 128mgs of DRY memory and the Aero works
great!
