Realtek HD Audio Problems?
Whenever I plugged in a jack I used to get a Popup saying a jack has been
plugged in and it gave me options to select what I plugged in.

Now this does not happen and only my speakers work. I am running a Dual Boot
of XP and Vista and it happens in both.

I've tried driver updates but still no luck. Also in Realtek HD Audio
Manager all the jacks are greyed out if that makes any different.

Thanks guys.

Re: Realtek HD Audio Problems?
I get the same experience with a Core 2 Duo System and ADI HD Audio Chip.

Problems with TV Tuner...
I have old AverMedia AverTV TV Tuner. I found some strange drivers in The
Internet that Vista installed (latest for wxp vista unable to install), now
I can watch TV with my official TV Tuner programm, but Media Center says
that I have no TV Tuner installed! How to make it recognise my TV Tuner ?
Vista Ultimate... AverMedia AverTV on bt878 chipset.

Re: Problems with TV Tuner...
AFAIK none of the AverTV tuners that do not have MCE as part of the tuner
name are supported by MCE2005 or by Vista MC since they do no have MCE
interfaces and hardware MPEG2 encoding capability onboard. Check the
Avermedia Web site and see if they have MCE2005 drivers avaiable. If they
don't they won't Vista MC drivers either.
