RE: Vista RC1 will not charge battery
No, I never figured this out. My laptop was acting the same as yours - it
would just run off of AC, and not the battery. I could be in the same
situation as you when I go to use it next. I am going to get a copy of the
full release next week and will try installing that and see if it was just a
bug in RC1...
