Vista won't detect network adapter.
I'm using two PCI Realtek 8139D cards and neither work. I don't think it's
the cards, I've tried both. Vista doesn't seem to detect them. Couldn't find
any Vista drivers for that card. Should I get a newer card (they're a few
years old)?

Re: Vista won't detect network adapter.
If there are no Vista drivers for the card(s) then they simply won't work
under Vista.

Re: Vista won't detect network adapter.
Thing is, it usually at least detects the device. This doesn't even detect it.

Re: Vista won't detect network adapter.
The Vista driver for Realtek 8139D (Version 6.104, dated 2007/6/21) appears
to be here:

http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/...&GetDown=false

Of course, Vista has to see the device. Is there anything in your BIOS
Setup that may be blocking that? Have you tried Control Panel > Add
Hardware?
