Can't burn CD

I am using Vista and can not burn a CD now. The error message reads to please
insert a blank CD...even though I have a blank CD inserted. I have tried
different programs: I Tunes, Windows media, Jukebox...it never recognizes the
disk. Please help!!

The condition you have can be caused by more than one possibility. Roxio
and/or Nero have been known to cause this problem in some computers. Why
this is I don't know. If you have either of these applications installed,
try uninstalling it to see whether that solves the problem. If it does, then
you likely will be looking for a replacement burning application.

I found those burners on another forum where people there say these all work
well
with Vista. Each burner has a free version and a pay version. I've not
tried
any of them.

I'll look around for other possible solutions, and if I find something, I'll
post back.
