NVIDIA GeForce 8200M G
I keep getting a message telling me: "Drivers are causing Windows to resume slowly" When I click to find out what driver it is:
NVIDIA Windows Kernel Mode
File Name: nvlddmkm.sys
Publisher: NVIDIA Corporation
Device: NVIDIA GeForce 8200M G
I've tried and tried to update this driver for the last year, but it keeps failing. I don't know what to do, can anyone help???
PROBLEMS: My computer is so slow to turn on and off and it takes forever to come back on after hibernation. Sometimes it doesn't even resume and I have to delete restoration data all together. It keeps randomly going into hibernation when I'm watching videos, movies or tv online. I think it's been overheating. It won't download driver updates. I have two hard disk drives C: 121 free of 222GB D: 1.46GB free of 10.8GB. So I don't think I'm out of space. Can anyone tell me what I need to upgrade on this computer to make it better or if I should just trade this one in and buy another?????
(PLEASE NOTE: I've been having these problems for a while now. My fan stopped working about a month ago and caused my computer to stop coming on. So I recently had my computer taken apart and found there was tons of dust in the fan. I brought it home and it seemed to be working fine for about a week, then back to ALL the things described above)
