Buying ecc ram for my H8DCE

Hi there,

Trying to figure out what kind of ram I should buy for my *H8DCE*
motherboard.More info of the board here : 'Super Micro Computer, Inc. -
Aplus Products | Motherboards | H8DCE'

I'm looking at Kingstons *KVR400X72C3A/1G*.More info : 'Kingston
Technology Company - Kingston Memory Search - Search Results for:
KVR400X72C3A/1G'

Would they work on my set?

The machineworld is quite a magicland to me,it's like reading the
lyrics of a spell. But there are sparks,if I get it right

Re: Buying ecc ram for my H8DCE
At http://www.supermicro.com/Aplus/moth...orce/H8DCE.cfm
select Tested Memory List under Links & Resources for SuperMicro's
official list.

You can also safely use any memory the memory manufacturer recommends.
The results for Kingston for your board are
http://www.ec.kingston.com/ecom/conf...submit1=Search

Crucial http://www.crucial.com/ and Corsair http://www.corsair.com/ may
also have recommendations.

No. The memory module has to be buffered or registered ECC DDR.
