XFi Platinum Rear Speakers

The help screens and support forums on the Creative website confuse the heck
out of me when I'm trying to figure out how to enable the rear speakers of my
XFI Platinum and Vista Ultimate 32. I do hear sound from the rear when I do
a 'speaker test' however the THX console does not neither does the
"diagnostics" screen that launches from there. I do not hear rear speakers
in games.

I have launched Alchemy and installed it into games that it finds, perhaps I
need to manually install it into LoTRO and other games?

Have you right clicked on the Speaker icon in the Notification Area of the
Taskbar, gone to Playback Devices and set up your speakers and sound card
properties?
