SD card problem

I have a 2gb micro sd card. I've used it with my vista system before,
but after plugging it in on ubuntu (same machine, its dual booted), it
doesnt seem to be recognized by vista. when i remove it from the slot
it makes a noise, but it doesnt appear under my devices when plugged in.
Thank you for any help.
